I spent the first 6 hours of my day thinking it was Thursday. That’s how well this Tuesday went. My new work schedule is from 4p-2a EST and it works with my sleep schedule, but I’m having such a hard time adjusting to it, I’ve been dragging ass all day. It’s unreal. I did, however, receive a kindle for my birthday (Anna, you’re still in trouble for that) and I spent a good chunk of time looking up creepy books, and I’m SO excited to get back into reading, y’all. SO. SO. EXCITE. I seriously can’t wait to curl up in bed and read tonight. Do y’all have any book suggestions?

Tonight, I want to share with you lovely folks some flakie goodness from a new-to-me brand, Paint it Pretty Polish! These release on Friday the 4th and they’re absolutely delicious. Ready to see them?

ME TOO, THANKS.

The oh-so-sweet Sherri behind PiP contacted me back in June about swatching these, and I’m so glad she did! The Flakies, Flakies, Flakies collection is made up of four gorgeous polishes that are totally packed with holo and flakies and just goodness, and the names that she chose, I love. They’re filled with sass and speak to my foul-mouthed soul.

Go Flake Yourself; a pink to gold flakie topper. I used this one as a standalone on my nails and I’m so glad I did. It’d look gorgeous over black or grey, but these flakies, you guys, they deserve all the spotlight. My swatches show just TWO coats and top coat and I didn’t need to sponge the flakies on!

Flaking around; a blue and purple flakie topper with holo. Sherri noted that this one works well by itself with a few extra coats or if you sponge some on. My photos show two coats plus top coat. The holo base in this is downright beautiful, holy shit. The flakies themselves are beautiful, but the midnight blue combined with holo? Starry Night comes to mind.

Flake Off; a light pink jelly base with UCC purple and blue flakies and just a tiny pinch of holo. Another one that works well as a topper or solo with a few extra coats. With the base being a light pink, I opted for a third coat of it solo, and it’s easily my favorite of the four. Pink. Holo. UCC flakies. What more could I possibly want?!

All Flaked Up; a light blue jelly with purple/blue/green color shifting flakies and a touch of holo. This one would look gorgeous over black, but I opted to try it solo and I fell in love. However, you should check out this gorgeous blue over a black base over at Queen of Nails 83’s blog here. I knew it’d be sheer with my VNL even at three coats, but it’s just… It’s the kind of polish that I’d love to go swimming in, especially with Narnia hitting up to a real feel of 118.

Gorgeous, yeah?! I’m blown away by how pretty these four are, and I love how they look solo. I definitely need to try them as toppers!

You’ll be able to grab these this Friday, the 4th for $10CAD each or about $8USD (plus shipping) over in Sherri’s shop. While you’re there, you’re going to want to check out the rest of what she has to offer, ugh. SO MANY PRETTIES. SO LITTLE TIME. SO FEW NAILS.

You can also find Paint it Pretty Polish on Instagram and Facebook.

Thanks for stopping by, y’all! I’ll be back tomorrow with another new release, so be sure to check back!

***The nail polishes mentioned in this post were sent to me in exchange for an honest review and photos, which can be found here.***
