Hello folks! I’m on my second to last night of work and melting all of the calming waxes and I just placed an order for some eucalyptus spearmint bath bombs. (Kaylyna, don’t kill me, I NEED ALL OF THE HAPPY TUB JOURNEYS RIGHT ABOUT NOW.) We’re getting the outer bands of the lovely Irma here now – it’s not even that bad, just rainy as the very edge of the storm is hitting us – and it’s super nice. I’ve got some comfy pants and my favorite hoodie on and I’m surprisingly calm despite my job (or lack of) situation. I’ll take it, y’know?

Moooooooving on! I’ve got three pretties from the fabulous Jennalyn at LynBDesigns that’ll be exclusively at Polish Con next weekend, and they’ll each only be $8! Keep reading, my friends. These are absolutely lovely, and you’re not going to want to miss them.

Jennalyn has such a huge range of colors within her brand and they’re seriously all unique. I have four collections/releases that are out in the next 5 weeks and they’re ALL different (and pretty as hell). I have no idea how she does it; I’d create 10 core colors and then consider my boring ass done.

First up is Chicago After Midnight; a deep navy jelly with color shifting iridescent glitter and micro rainbow glass flecks. At first I was a bit worried that this one would be sheer on me between the jelly formula and my VNL, but it was perfectly opaque in two coats. Because it’s packed with glitters, there was a tiny bit of texture when dry, but it smoothed out with top coat. The glass flecks add a ton of depth to the polish. I’m in love, y’all.

Shedd Some Light; a medium blue toned green with purple to blue to green shimmer, green galaxy flakes, and holo micro shimmer. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s really the only way to sum up my feelings on this polish. It’s shifty and shimmery and very mermaidy. I. LOVE. This one was a bit thicker and was nearly opaque in one coat, but I added a second just to level it all out before top coat.

Millennium Park Pink; a light pink crelly base with linear holo, pink to purple shimmer, and white micro flakes. I’m going to go ahead and dub this the ballerina mermaid shade. The pink is spot on and then that shimmer is just delicious. It’s almost as if Jennalyn made MPP the inside-out version of Shedd Some Light. Ugh, so pretty! This one was on the thicker side as well, and another two-coater.

So, whatcha think? Beautiful, yeah? These will be available at Polish Con on September 23rd for $8 each. They’re exclusives, so if you’re not going, you may want to find a polish mule, or fairy, or whatever you’d like to call the sweet soul that likes to help. Personally, I’m fine with mule. I’ve always known that I’m a bit of an ass, so I just roll with it.

Moar links!

I think it’s time for a soak and some reading, yep. That sounds perfect. Thanks for stopping by, y’all! I’ll be back tomorrow with some jelly and flakie goodness, so don’t forget to come back this way!

***The nail polishes mentioned in this post was sent to me in exchange for an honest review and photos, which can be found above.***
